DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

Be careful with F fund...at least shirt term. I had to keep 20% in G fund reserve...just in case. S fund looks ready to break out upward, but importantly I understand it would not be as harmed as C fund due to steel and aluminum tariffs. Will see how it goes...keeping fingers crossed!!

Best wishes to you Nasa, and to everyone!!!!!!!

Thanks for your comments. I do see the strength in S fund as well. Will ride the S for now. Jobs report and tariff on my mind this week. I believe there is a report on Friday...so will be looking closely at daily stock market gyrations. :D

Moved 85% F 15% G last week, as I am anticipating with a possible BEAR market starting that the F will move at least 8% for the year since it has been so under for some time. Stoxx600 could also be something up and coming but need to get past all of the European turmoil.

hi yesterday, not sure we are entering a bear market. I tend to think it's a ways off, but there definitely could be some short term weakness, and lots of volatility.

Here is weekly F Fund chart.

Still favoring the S Fund !!!! :D. While DOW is down right now 145 pts, the DWCPF (S fund) is up a bit at +.16%. Also, I am slowly digging out of my hole...I briefly thought about reducing exposure but with chart looking this god decided to hang on.

So what happens tomorrow with the CPI numbers coming out??

Best wishes to all!!!!!!!

Deciding to book some earnings ...reducing exposure and moving to be more weighted in C fund. Just not decided how much yet. Thinking to reduce from 80% to 40 or 50%. Will see...

CPI numbers good this morning and market rallied a little and then came down. S (-.22) and C (.08) funds are down a bit right now. Not a lot...hope it breaks to upside tomorrow.

Reduced and reallocated: 40C, 10 S, 50G. Now that feels better... Booked a little but still playing.

C fund looks better..all sloped up plus more room overhead to grow (plenty above before it hits major resistance) while S fund is closer to hitting its resistance. Hoping everything breaks upward!! Reduced exposure only to reduce the little I've dug out of hole. Yep...a bit too conservative but that's the way it has to be for awhile......:o

Next Tue/Wed FOMC meeting and likely interest rate fear will lift its ugly head as Fed meets.

Glutton for punishment....hesitantly staying in until Monday so I can agonize over the weekend! Lol..... I know...I'm sick!!

Best wishes to you all!!!!!! It's almost Margarita /Dos Equis time ! :friday: Hope you have a great weekend!!!!!! :D

P.S. The charts look promising! But then, I look again and think what am I doing???
No crystal ball and I'm convinced that anything can happen...cheers!!!

Here are Friday's charts.

DWCPF - Despite the drop last week, indicators are a bit encouraging only because EMAs are still sloping upward. Momentum is moving down as indicated by signal line dropping below 80 on Slow Stochastic. Looks like market is testing support and it might drop a bit more, but and I'm hopeful it will hold and head back up. But we will see....SPX not doing as well...EMAs moving sideways.

Well things are getting hairy...not just in market but also here in Austin. The 6th explosion that just occurred (at the Goodwill on Brodie and Slaughter lane) this past hour is 1 mile from my home. I go through that intersection every day and had just gone by there. Got home and tgen heard about it as breaking news. So sad to hear a 30 year old was injured, so keeping him as well as those from prior explosions in prayer. Sunset valley Fedex drop off is about 5 miles..up Brodie. Ughhh...truely unbelievable...:(:(

Lots of cameras should be at that Sunset station...hope they ID the wacko quickly.

I’ve been thinking about you today and wondering if you lived in the vicinity of these bombings. I can’t imagine the fear that’s coursing through the city. I hope to hell they catch this bastardo soon. Stay safe.

Thank you KB and KK. I was thinking of safety since the 4th one, which hit the SW side of Austin. Trip wire...wow. So now looking for wires as I walk out to the mail box...pretty pathetic to be forced to think that way.. What a Jerk!

Well the latest is that the explosion earlier was not part of the other bombings. They say this one on Brodie was an "unexploded military ordnance"? So I guess that must have been an unexploded old shell??? They never said exactly what it was. Lots of people in military around here... They seemed to indicate these can be like old items kept as a souvenir. Humm....

Still.....those two packages that went to Schertz and other Fedex by airport were sent from the Sunset Valley FedEx store up the road about 4-5 miles. Thats the store i use to ship out gifts at Christmas. It's creepy to think of that wacko running around in my neck of the woods!
