I'd love to see a headline in the newspaper or on your local news Thursday or Friday saying "Panic on Wall Street!". We'll know we can start buying.

I'm glad you started this up again Tech. I can now see how much the dollar rose after that contrarian Newsweek dollar article in March 2005. The dollar went from 81 to 92 during the next 8 months.

If anyone sees a Newsweek cover mentioning the stock market, please let us know.

Thanks,
Tom

What reasons do we have at the moment to indicate the dollar may get stronger????

War on Iran....??
Interest rates...????
Domestic economy???
Trade imbalance???

If you have any suggestions, feel free to make it.....

Maybe it will strengthen in the short run because, like the price of oil, speculators and manipulators are in the drivers seat and mere fundamentals are riding in the back. Reality will win sooner or later, of course, but those of us that trust in what is out in the open for all to see may feel some pain as hidden powers play their games.
