Do you buy things online? at Auctions?

I bought an airplane on E-bay. ( I couldn't help myself- the price was too good, and my mouse just clicked by itself. I still have it.)

I sold an airplane on E-bay, three times.

The first two folks backed out of the deal. The third guy got himself a bargain on a cherry 1948 Cessna 195, sold for at least ten grand less than it was worth. But I still came out ok.
My brother bid on a house in Kansas via ebay as a joke, but he won it! He's trying to fix it up and put it back on the market so he can try to break even.

I did some ebay sales in good ol days befor all the rules that they have now. Sellers aretreated poorly cannot leave neg feedbac for buyers no matter what, fees keep going up and paypal wil hold your money if your dsr is low. Too much bs to deal with now.
Please translate into english...:blink::D:D

Use to buy stuff on ebay ~ but it's been awhile.

I get books online almost anytime I get one.

Hmm got a medication on line as well.

The Russian Ladies (I think about 20) ~~ and other Foreign Countires (maybe another 50) ~~ I'm pretty sure they were Online Orders as well. Just make sure you can exchange them -- or you can send them back 'no questions asked'.

I've bought a lot of stuff on ebay, amazon, and propertyroom.com, which is an online police auction. I have yet to sell anything on ebay, but I intend to.

I'm a big ebay fan. Just got done selling some quality scuba equipment and got a very nice price for all of it.

I also do a lot of buying through that site. Less hassle, less time, more selection, usually no taxes, and shipping often free. Not to mention saving gas and wear and tear on the car.

I've bought a lawnmower online, sold a car on ebay, bought a mattress (not used :)), and everything in between. I do all my Christmas shopping online, and I am addicted to checking the daily woot. If you don't know what that is, just forget I said anything. It's too late for me, but you need to run and don't ask questions. :)

Yes the Bay is great for collectibles, but i have also gotten some nice stereo eq. via Craigslist.

Just bought Ink Jet printer ink online (Canon). I buy plenty online, computers, cameras, computer memory you name it!

I went through a spell of buying vintage Christmas decorations on eBay. There are some cool old blacksmith tools there too.

I won't buy new books on Amazon if I can help it. Used baby.

Thanks for supporting the U S Postal Service! :)

"Keep those cards and letters coming, folks." :D

I do almost all my Christmas shopping on line, things relating to our hobbies and speciality items that can't be found anywhere in our area. Being from a small town area, we have a very limited selection of stores.

*Books, $$$$ of books, at 3 diff places, also Amazon Used Booksellers;
but only if I can't find what I need at the local bookstores.
*Have done some computer, electronic stuff at Tigerdirect.com.
(desktop tower thru Dell)
Not a routine thing - mostly responding to a sale if it's something I
have been putting off getting.
*e-cards
*Airline and/or motels

I do all my Christmas and birthday shopping on-line..I am an avid Ebayer for selling and buying and a Amazon buyer..PayPal is the only way I'll pay or accept payment..Right now I'm looking for a Ball RR watch and Meteorites...Aside from that, I do all my bills via snail mail.

PM me for my PAYPAL account name, in case anyone wants to donate to my retirement fund..;)

books mostly, heirloom veggie seeds, a few garden supplies can't be found in local brick and mortar. books are my downfall at brick and mortar places-fortunately the nearest BigBox brick and mortar is 70 miles away-don't get there too often-but now the internet-oh my, too easy. :embarrest:

My bead addiction is extremely early stages. Haven't made anything yet, got tools, a couple busted necklaces to fix before I start something new. Can take a class 25 miles from here, but haven't made the time yet. ooh, internet? for beads? maybe I better not start. (I didn't pierce my ears til early 30s, was afraid earring addiction would run away from me, but it hasn't-fortunately. I WAS looking at a jewelry site on internet recently tho-at earrings. Only saw one pair I wanted, but didn't buy. what a time waster-all that looking but no buying).

fortunately my main hobby at this point is quilting-I don't buy material over the internet, support my local quilt shop. hobby still under control-only so much room for material stash, only so many projects can work on at a time. :cheesy:

I buy almost everything online. I research there then shop for the best price. I like the comfort to make my decisions in my privacy without pushy sales people. Seems you can never find them when you want one and can't get away from them when you don't.

However, I 'suffer' from something my wife doesn't. She still laughs at me about the rake I bought for $40 dollars. Either I picked up the wrong one or someone mispriced it but I'm not the kind of person to raise a stink at the cash register. Her, on the other hand, she has no problem exclaiming, "What! no rake is worth $40 dollars. Keep it!" and walking off.

Almost everything can be found online. Very recently I've bought, a digital camera, 100 small neodymium magnets (for a project), and vacuum cleaner bags for the central vac system. It's like Christmas every few weeks at the mail box:D I have netflix for my movies; they show up in the mail - Christmas again! I have a Kindle and love it. I can finish reading a book in bed, order another one, and keep right on reading into the night.

We live in a fantastic time!

I try to buy most things except groceries online because it takes less spoons. So Amazon is my friend. Except when I spend way more than I should on downloading books to my Kindle. Just think. Any subject I can think of and I can be reading a book about it in two minutes.

Books and beads.

I started beading to keep my fingers limber and now I have a close personal relationship with Shipwreck Beads. And they named it that because of what it's doing to my budget.
