Can you help me understand why the F fund is struggling when the stocks are repeatedly down?

I guess it depends what you mean by struggle. The F fund is up in June while the stock funds have been hit hard. On a day to day basis, the economic data will have an effect on bond yields so it is not always an exact inverse correlation between stocks and bonds.
