Similarites between You and Sarh
The Mennonite outreach has been the most dominate aspect of her Spiritual Life and Life in general. She went to a Mennonite College, has worked through the Mennonite Central Committee in SWAP (Serving with Appalachian People) year after year since starting college; and most recently went through their Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA (for training) prior to her flight to Korea.
She (nor her family) are Mennonite. For us, these things make little difference - what is important is how you live your life - especially in terms of outreach. Faith in Christ supercedes any domination. So whether it is through a Hindu Center (or whatever) - the important thing is making yourself available, having the right attitude, and extending yourself as a faithful servant.
I know a moring cup of "Green Tea" is a part of your healthy active lifestyle - and Sarah now has "Green Tea Diary" as a means of connecting her life and experiences in Korea with the rest of the world.
www.GreenTeaDiary.com - is available to anyone wanting to know what's happening with her life. My hope is you will check this out with your morning cup of tea. I will send a PM with the same message.
Her recent pictures show a Korean girl - who was her roomate at the headquarters. It was a wonderful experience spending time with her. Another picture is with a young man from Zimbabwe. She said his circumstances in Zimbabwe were terrible - the stores are often essentially empty. His life has been hard but she was so impressed with his love for life and his enthusiasm to share in God' Love. He has a radiance of God's Spirit and demeanor. She only has a few pictures posted as she is just starting.
Occasionally I'll return to see if you've sent a post or PM (Birthday, various Holidays...) as this has been our only means of communication. There is no doubt that our paths will cross again - wheather it's in this life - or the next. Until then may God's richest blessings fill you and surround you in all that you do, wherever you are and whoever you're with.
To the MB Family in general - especailly my brothers and sisters who have allowed me to experience the blessings of true and wonderful connections. My love and prayers go out to everyone.
Tom - thank you for making all this possible.
Perhaps this MB will be another chapter in my life down the road. For now the next chapter has already started and (because of that) this one has to end.
Again - my richest love and gratitude to all.
