I answered your question to me regarding borrowing from your TSP account to fund a self-directed IRA. Sorry about the very late response. I am rather new to boards like this. Never saw the message thang...

Regardless, are you looking into moving back into the market?

If the FedHead dissappoints we are looking at a short to mid term down market. If they elate we will look at a short term gain, then a fall, then a long term gain. Me thinks we will be in a win/win in about a month or so.

Watch 12%, Pill, Dr. Faustus, and the Sentiment Survey... I am not a trader in the vain of 12% or Dr. Faustus - but, it is interesting to note what folks are betting on, eh...

There are many others out there. I would recommend downloading the spreadsheet and finding a couple of folks who match your style and risk acceptance... To me SPAF and SafetyGuy are good for more conservative investors.
