Cool Vids

OMG...I wonder if the studio that made "Trading Places" with Murphy and Aykroyd paid the Stooges any royalties for stealing that plot?

But then of course there was the female version...My Fair Lady.;)

Pygmalion lives forever!

They are both crooks, quit beating each other up.

Did I tell ya the story about the people in front of me at the check out line at Walmart buying STEAK with their food stamp card. Know were I was going after Walmart? To the store that had a sale on ground chuck for $1.59 a pound. It was all I could do to not lose my temper.

This is the third time in 7 years I have had to endure this.

While my family is saving and making good choices the folks that receive aid squander it living the high life.

Buying votes, ya got to luv that farm bill.

WAL-MART?

YOU were shopping at WAL-MART?

Oh my friend-- Pleeeze-say it ain't So ! ! !

It's time for ALL of America to WAKE UP!

Wal-mart is anti-American, anit-military family, and is a villian you should not support!

Wal-mart destroys the American Economy, hurts consumers with lead-filled chinese products. Their employment practices harm you as a taxpayer by requiring employees to obtain health care from state taxpayers, and depresses wages.

There, I got that off my chest.

Just one mid-size store costs taxpayers nealry half-million dollars a year!

Your tax dollars pay for Wal-Mart's greed
  • The estimated total amount of federal assistance for which Wal-Mart employees were eligible in 2004 was $2.5 billion. [The Hidden Price We All Pay For Wal-Mart, A Report By The Democratic Staff Of The Committee On Education And The Workforce, 2/16/04]
  • One 200-employee Wal-Mart store may cost federal taxpayers $420,750 per year. This cost comes from the following, on average:
    • $36,000 a year for free and reduced lunches for just 50 qualifying Wal-Mart families.
    • $42,000 a year for low-income housing assistance.
    • $125,000 a year for federal tax credits and deductions for low-income families.
    • $100,000 a year for the additional expenses for programs for students.
    • $108,000 a year for the additional federal health care costs of moving into state children's health insurance programs (S-CHIP)
    • $9,750 a year for the additional costs for low income energy assistance.

By the way- I am a private pilot.

And I have a wonderful black lab, who loves to go everywhere I go. He loves rides in the car, and he loves to ride in the plane too.

But I would NEVER try THIS with my dog...

A wonderful man Sam Walton, I think he would turn over in his grave if he knew what his company is doing, what a shame!View attachment 4111

Worth watching.

Caution: A speech that should be watched at home. 26 minutes- and worth every minute.

All of those taxes and credits are available to anyone with low income. Anybody getting minimum wage is getting all those taxes and credits. I don't see how WalMart is unique in getting those benefits. If WalMart was destroyed, all those employees would probably work in a similar setting for some other place. The same taxes would be dished out to those people.
