Here is the poll question on CNBC...

Is the next big down move to the Up side or Down side?

Will this be an indicator of a bottom or will the results?

If anyone sees the results please post, I have no access to TV or internet during the day...

the numbers were somrthing like 59% say market moving up and 41% say market in a downward cycle.

Any update on those results? Both of those figures are on the high side. 41% bearish is very high. Anything over 20% is usually a good sign for the market. But 59% bullish is high also. Did they have an "I don't know" option or did they have to pick one of the two?

Most of those sentiments I show usually have a30-40% "not sure" response.

All the poll indicated this morning was up or down, I did not see a 'I don't know'.

So, the 41% bearish (down), is not enough in itself, to consider us nearing a bottom. Too bad I'm itching to get back in...
