Staying put but I'm itching to buy some I find. Maybe next week after the ECB decision

I'm itching to buy I Fund too. MACD looks good. ROC looks good. RSI almost at 50. My only hesitation is that it's below 250MA. I may go 50S/50I or 10G/40S/40I. You only live once

I almost bought some I fund today. They have been positive a couple of days and instituting QE next week could be very positive.
It would be nice to see a positive day in the C & S for a change. :)

Yes it would. I wonder how the holiday Monday will effect the markets today. I am a little worried the ECB will disappoint next Thursday. Shoulda sold yesterday but it's always hard to pick a spot to get out. Also, to pick a spot to get back in.

The gap on EFA is almost filled, it needs to get another 0.45 or so. What happens then? That may coincide with the ECB meeting Thursday. I think I'll wait for that to play out. If they do start QE then it could be a good play except that the USD will hurt us because it will continue to climb vs EURO. Still, QE may lift stocks enough to make it a good play. I wouldn't put more than 50% in I fund while its in a bear market.

Craig, are you sticking with the C fund 100%?

We should be able to continue up to the 50 dma. If we can get back above it the we can try for a new high. If we fail at the 50 dma I will sell 50%.
Not the best action today! There is still good support around S&P 2000 so I'll wait to see if it holds. Could be a rocky week though with the ECB Thursday

Still churning around here. Must be waiting on ECB tomorrow. We've been digesting gains since the end of December . I think we're ready to make a big move. Up or Down I'm not sure but I think the odds are Up. I still like the I fund but I'm not quite ready to buy. Maybe Friday or Monday if ECB doesn't dissappoint.

I don't know. It just depends on how the big market players react. I'd wait until Friday or Monday to give it a chance to react.

So far the reaction is reasonable. No crazy moves. That's good. Should allow the market to continue up. The Euro is a big headwind for the I fund. But, stock prices may be up more than euro is down. I'm still thinking I will give the markets a couple days to settle. Especially the eur/usd

S&P hit the 50 dma and pulled back. If we fail there I will sell 50% but the day is young. We need to get above it to keep the rally going.

Damm.. good day for the C fund
That's the way to get through a moving average. We should be able to rally up to new highs now. It's not unusual to test a breakout so don't get nervous if that happens. A break back below the 50 dma is a problem but I expect the rally to continue.

The I fund is testing its 50dma from underneath. If it can get through it it should be able to run up to its 200 dma. I would wait for that before getting in. The usd/ eur is continuing to hurt I fund returns. It's still in a bear market so if I went into I fund it would be a max of 50%. C fund is looking good for now. S fund does too. As I mentioned before, a test of the breakout above the 50 dma often happens. If we can't hold the 50 dma then I will sell 50%.

According to my charts, today the I Fund (EFA) is testing its 50 EMA from above. With the current EFA price at 61.7300, my charts are showing the 50 EMA at 61.5901 and the 50 DMA at 61.9604. Today's EFA candlestick is also sitting inside of a green ichimoku cloud.
