My system doesn't seem too good right now!

Nothing is perfect but it IS a system and you are systematically looking at measurable parameters. AND you comment about what you are seeing. THAT is what is helpful to everyone. I don't trade your system but I enjoy learning from your observations!! Thanks!

I appreciate the comment. Its just so frustrating when the market is not logical. I always look to logic and the market just doesn't act logical a lot. Its very emotional and irrational. I am feeling very emotional myself right now. I guess thats when calm investors make their move?

what's interesting to me is that TZA and FAZ are still below $20 with this downturn. usually they both are in the high 20's to low 30's by now.

I'm still in as well. My weekly contributions are going in at good prices And those that are out will be getting in at "golden prices".

But I like to see the change of opening flat to up and then tanking to opening down and climbing back through the day. Lets hope hope that happens again today.

So far so good. Small caps are now positive. Lets see a strong close to make it 3 up days in a row!

Buyers are starting to come in now but there will be bumps as those like me have ridden this down and are looking for an exit. I expect a pretty good run up the the 50 dma for the S fund if this bounce has any legs. Short covering should start to kick in too.

Boy am I glad I moved over to S fund. The last 2 days has given me 2% better than C fund.

Today could be good. I believe short sellers who have made a ton of money this week will cover for the weekend. The test will be Monday. We should get to the 50 dma for a big test. Thats still a big rally. The S fund is leading us out of the correction but its about to have a death cross which is my systems. Idea of a bear market. With a really big rally the 50 dma might just take a short trip below the 200 dma

I shoulda known that the day I was so upset and frustrated was the bottom. I hoped it was but I did get a little emotional and wanted to sell. You can see how the markets gets people. Even the pros on TV were wanting to panic! I've been punished by the market many times giving into those emotions over the last 20 years. You'd think I'd learn. Well...maybe I finally have.

Guess my system did work after all! Whew....Next stop 50DMA/200DMA. Hope we can bust on through! I fund looks like a buy now too although its in a bear market for now so I'd only allocate 50% there. I won't move there yet though. F fund sell signal worked and I expect it to drop to its 50 dma for a test.

Yep. And it will happen. Thats why you need a system! But you have to trust it.
