"Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer"

I dont think GimmeMoore is a totally heartless evil miser.

All Im saying is he pretty much FITS the description of what HE claims to despise - He has become fabulously wealthy producing motion pictures with a liberal/leftist/socialist theme, mostly aimed to influence the young to recruit them into the liberal mindset.

When he comes out leading the rabid masses theres a movie deal in the making.

When you see this guy coming (and thats easy to see) you get a whiff of Fascism and Capitalism at the same time :D:nuts::sick:

Damn I did good! lol.

Hey,...By the way, if your family grosses $100K your in the Top 10% of wage earners in America. There ain't that much difference between ranting about the Top 1% and the Top 10%. I mean, 90% make less than many of us!!! I'm certain the protesters aren't making any bank - I don't think they are getting paid...

There is an incredible difference between the 90% percentile, heck, even the 95% percentile, and the top 1%. It's called the L-Curve.

It seems there may be some disagreement here about who the "wealthy" really are. Wow. What happened to solidat?

I have no dog in this income fight since I am still hung up on the whining about losing $4800 for one pay period. I feel so inadequate.

Let them protest. It was done in the 60s and every decade since. All students have a cause and later become capitalists of some sort. This bunch just seems more whiny and self centered to me.

Let me think a minute...protesting racial inequality, a stupid war, the draft vs not earning over the 90th percentile the first year out of college and having legitimate debts?

Let them protest. I have to go to work tomorrow to support my family.

Plain white or yellow cake made from a $.99 cent mix and one egg like I used to make for me and the dog. Sometimes I would put chocolate sauce on mine. The dog would complain about that in spite of my explaining about the health concerns. Just like the current protesters. The dog also complained beause I would give her share in bits and pieces lest she swallow it whole. Some parallels here with the current protesters.

I haven't made a cake since the dog died, now you have motivated me.

regards

PO

Oooo, aaahhhhhh, I found more photos from "The Day of Rage"

These are my favorite. It shows a different angle of the massive citizen protest on Wall Street. That safety net is in tatters. In just minutes white collar union thugs will be giving these folks a beat down.

This photo at the simultaneous day of rage in Los Angeles is kinda sad. Apparently the ragers forgot that a very large and smarmy Mexican Independence Day festival was scheduled for the same day at the site they wanted to rage at. Kinda embarrassing...

And, just to show everybody how Polliwood really works. Here is another grassroots rager getting his photo taken. Right from the heart!!!

Why, if he was a proud Anarchist, was his face covered? Maybe the same reason why the Muslim Extremists do too?

Sorry, when I am doing something I am proud of, I do not cover my face... that seems to me that they are embarassed of what they are doing... Is that just me?

Today "Occupy Wall Street" goes Postal- moving to the Post Office to support demonstrating Postal Workers.

Really, I should have learned my lesson by now: The bigger the build-up to a protest, and the more grandiose the promises, the louder the sound of the bellyflop onto the dustbin of irrelevancy.

LOL well said.

United Steelworkers announce support for ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protest

By Eric W. Dolan
Saturday, October 1, 2011

The United Steelworkers, North America’s largest industrial union, announced on Friday that it supported the ongoing “Occupy Wall Street” protest that began in lower Manhattan and has slowly spread to other cities across the United States.

The protesters have pledged to occupy Wall Street until something is done about corporate greed and corporate influence on the U.S. government. They have been camped out in New York’s old Liberty Plaza since September 17.

“The United Steelworkers union stands in solidarity with and strongly supports Occupy Wall Street,” Leo W. Gerard, International President of the United Steelworkers, said in a statement.

So now they are not only blocking traffic for people who actually want to work, let alone emergency services vehicles, they are now blocking the NYPD from doing their jobs? Sure hope no one has a heart attack or another terrorist attacks doesn't happen that would require the NYPD or the NYFD to risk their lives, or giving their lives, to help someone they don't even know. Why don't they just go to the big corporate homes and protest? Maybe they could blast a recording of the US Constitution over and over on a loud speaker or something outside their homes? I just think there is a better way to get your point across. I can only see this way ending badly................just an opinion.

The NY PD directed the marchers ONTO the bridge.

THEY - the New York PD, put the marchers into the position of blocking traffic.

And then, once they were on the bridge, used that excuse to make 700 arrests.

The reporter at the scene wrote what happened in the Wall Street journal- which was then overwritten 20 minutes later.

I already saw this. You make it sound like some big conspiracy? They increased their originally reported number of arrests? What's the conspiracy?

No. The big conspiracy is that the PD MADE them go onto the bridge, then arrested them for going onto the bridge.

The police had no legal reason to arrest them- so they forced the demonstrators to do something for which they could then legally arrest them.

They ALLOWED them onto the bridge- made them go there, in fact, and then turned around and arrested them for doing so.

And the newspaper reporter at first reported that the NY PD ALLOWED them onto the bridge, and then, 20 minutes later, the article is re-`written, deleting the fact that the PD ALLOWED them there in the first place.

I believe there is a dedicated walk way on the Brooklyn bridge, and not a small one as it is a pretty busy bridge for walkers and bikers alike. It's all about perceptions I guess....................

Here are the marchers, originally on the pedestrian walkway.

Then, the Police LEAD THE MARCHERS INTO THE ROADWAY.

"NYPD leads thousands of protesters into the traffic lane of the Brooklyn Bridge, before halting the procession halfway across, setting up barricades in front and behind, and arresting hundreds."

In the video, protesters on the pedestrian-area of the Brooklyn Bridge are standing still, while a group of protesters follow cops walking towards the road-area of the bridge.

Climbing down onto the road must have seemed sensible at this point to some of the protesters standing in the pedestrian-area.

The police then led them --directed them INTO the traffic lane. Police DIRECTED THEM onto the traffic area of the bridge, then cut off and blocked movement either forward or backward on the bridge, and then proceeded to arrest 700 people for being on the bridge.

Yeh, it's all about perceptions. The Police set them up intentionally in order to arrest them.

Are they leading them down the Brooklyn bound side or the Manhattan bound side? What was that one peaceful protestor saying, "Take it!"? Take what, the bridge? Just my perception of course. Time to go enjoy the day. :) Have a good one. Go Cowboys!!
