Bulls Come Back

The market gapped up at the open and remained in positive territory the entire trading session. Closing prices were off their highs of the day, but gains were moderate nonetheless.

The Seven Sentinel remain in a sell condition, but BPCOMPQ flipped back to a buy on today's action. That's not overly meaningful by itself as internals continue to struggle. But I do think it's indicative that the battle between the bulls and bears will continue for a bit longer yet. In the meantime, risk remains elevated given the sell condition of the system.

coolhand, I may have missed this somewhere along the line, but I had a question about what triggers a sell/buy with your system. Do all signals have to go to green before a buy is triggered and all have to go to red before a sell is triggered? Or is it when four are green or red the buy/sell is triggered?

Thank you!

Now that the system is in a sell condition, all signals have to trigger a buy signal simultaneously to flip the system back to a buy condition. The opposite is true for a sell condition. All signals must flip to a sell condition simultaneously to put the system back to a sell.

Thank you for the reply and explanation!
