Brain Teasers

Getting warm, very warm. Letters in 3 things must come from NON-PERCEPTION; A, B, K, L not part of 13 letters in "Non-Perception". Close though.

Well, Neon, Copper, and Tin are three elements made of those letters. Not sure of what category they share except that they are all elements.

Say Frixxxx, you sat at that table full of goodies hey? You are CORRECT!!......... Almost userque, you were at the table also.

Frixxxx wins.

you are missing an E.

What am I missing? Where's the other E? I was going to post the same as userque.

OK! Duh! We didn't need to utilize all 13 letters..."must come from".

You're such a brain tease, TR!

[h=1]When Is Cheryl’s Birthday?[/h]
Albert and Bernard just met Cheryl. “When’s your birthday?” Albert asked Cheryl.

Cheryl thought a second and said, “I’m not going to tell you, but I’ll give you some clues.” She wrote down a list of 10 dates:
May 15, May 16, May 19
June 17, June 18
July 14, July 16
August 14, August 15, August 17
“My birthday is one of these,” she said.
Then Cheryl whispered in Albert’s ear the month — and only the month — of her birthday. To Bernard, she whispered the day, and only the day.

“Can you figure it out now?” she asked Albert.
Albert: I don’t know when your birthday is, but I know Bernard doesn’t know, either.
Bernard: I didn’t know originally, but now I do.
Albert: Well, now I know, too!
When is Cheryl’s birthday?
Originally, Mr. Kong said this was a problem inflicted on fifth-graders, leading to hand-wringing that Singapore children were way better at math than everyone else in the world and worries that Singapore children were being mentally abused with convoluted logic at a young age.
It turned out the problem actually came from a math olympiad test for math-savvy high school-age students.
How would you fare in a room full of adolescent math competitors in Singapore?
(Once you think you have figured it out — or if you don’t know where to start — here is the answer and an explanation.)

"F" is correct! Can you explain why "F" is correct?

Yes, but only in my convoluted way of thinking. It was a 4/5 count.

A-D (4) back to A..A-E (5) E-I (4) start at B ... B-F (5) It might not be the correct way to figure it out, but it's my pea brain way.

LOL...interesting. I figured you did it some "other" type of way. The intended solution:

pi to 10,000 digits
Pi~3.1415926

c.adaeibF

Where a=1, b=2, c=3, etc.

The letters in question correspond to the fractional part of Pi. "F" corresponds to "6." I left out "3" or "c" (the non-fractional part of pi) to help make this teaser "google proof."

Well done!

_____________
Use strong encryption, btw.

OMG! My brain would explode if I used that equation. I'm just simple minded. :D

I've found that many times--especially with forecasting financial markets; the simple solutions work best.

(Still amazing that you got that right the wrong way.)

All of you like to eat me. I am a five lettered word. Remove the first two letters and I turn into an infamous animal.

Remove just the first letter and I become a heinous crime. Remove the first and last letter and you can groove on me.

Can you guess who am I?
