Duh I couldn't change. I forgot one of my IFT's and got excited. You never know it could go down but I'm looking for 1266 for maybe a top. This move up has seemed more realistic to me because it consolidated or retested at each resistance level and each resistance level held as support. the big resistance level we broke was establish over a few months and shows how strong we are. Then again it could be a low volume drift up. I kind of lean toward a move up this afternoon.

Overall I agree...but I don't like that bounce against the 1263 as a ceiling.

We haven't been bouncing down lately.:)

Hey buddy the movement is acting like it's being blocked by a top of the channel more than anything else. Maybe I should redraw to put it back under?:confused:

That is a definite possibility, unfortunately we most likely won't know till the last hour today or even opening on Tuesday. I am in because I just don't know and I hope (I am being greedy) to pick up another couple of percent next week. This is only a roll of the dice as the market could just as easily drop to 1202 as break 1296ish. I would leave your chart alone till we see what the end of the day brings.

For now, Merry Christmas to all as well as all of theirs!!!
 
I have redrawn the top channel line because of how the market was moving. It was acting like it was aganst the top of the channel so I drew it so. I also moved one of the support lines. I hope this helps?:)

OK... I think that close may have gone back to your original chart!
 
Some are beginning to think we're starting to row over, so keep a eye out.

Little Bull says we're in a repeating pattern and going up. Up , retest consolidate, bull flag and repeat. I watch longer. This may be a low volume wall of worry move. How's that little bullish talk I make, yes?:)
 
Doesn't look like the bull flag worked. So to the Lilly pad I go. Have to remember capitol preservation.
 
Well look at that. While I was away making my IFT it moved up. Oh well I did say that I was going to try calling it sooner and I got out. Didn't want to wait and miss the IFT timm limit like time befor last and pick it for you guys may have time. Anyway if it ends possitive we can say we took profit.:)

I'm at 10% for the year and very happy. Aren't ypu?

I am just glad to be positive after my boondoggle in early August...
 
Little Bear thinks we'll only go up a little more anyway. What if this is a false breakout at the 3/4 point of a triangle?

So maybe we should keep a heads up here for a while.

Hi Bquat. Thank you very much for your insight, charts, and market commentary. I find them all very helpful and enlightening. I started reading this site in July and find you to be among the top four quality contributors. I moved from S to F last Wednesday the 21st, which was about 1.4% early :suspicious: but I am very happy with the 3.06% gain in four days! :D I agree that there will be a much lower entry point coming in January. Happy New Year to us all! :laugh:
