Bquat's Account Talk

Trying a little higher support line. Check out the arrow my 20 SMA above the rising 100 SMA. Chart:

Slowest fill of an upper gap that I have ever seen. Due to today's weakness after the higher high I had to change my Midterm Channel again. Chart: :cheesy:

My Midterm was getting a little long and today's strength was surprising. Close enough for gap fill. I am thinking "F" flag which is bullish until it isn't. Chart:

Sorry for having to change my Midterm Channel so much but this is a news-based market :cheesy:

Sorry I was at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned. More bullish than I thought. This can be a exhaustion move or topping Doji. We are so close to the top of both channels, I might not worry about it. Chart: :D

Well, I saw the top pattern, but this is not weakness after the top. With light support holding this is more like a little Bull Flag:

Starting to look more like a consolidation than a breakdown. Chart:

With the gap fill, for Whipsaw Wednesday, I am playing with an upcoming event: :suspicious:

The ship is a little slow to get going today. My 20 SMA crossing my 100SMA makes this a bull market, right? Looks like a setup for Whipsaw Wednesday:

Above my green line makes me 60/40 Bullish. :suspicious:

The setup for Whipsaw Wednesday is more like 50/50 now but it's still there:

So far, we are not getting the Whipsaw I was expecting with the 20 SMA crossover. We are getting smaller moves and are within the old gap area. Plus, we have moved right of the F Flag area. Chart: :embarrest:

I am still slightly Bullish.

Well, I thought we already discussed about no rate cuts. Now FED worried about inflation. I can't beat the news. I guess tomorrow we'll see if this is an overreaction. My Midterm may be wrong because of the news. Chart:

Well - S&P-500 finished only less than half as negative as Small/Mid-Caps ... per Tom, S fund more impacted by the Treasury Yield being up (and bond-fund down). So, not too bad overall today. Better luck tomorrow?

I think it was that jump in yields, but was it caused by this obscure PMI data that came out right when things shifted?
