Nice little 13 EMA test. Will it hold? We are below support::worried:

Maybe a little bear flag. Consolidating sideways in a price range between out line and N 1. Midterm channel still lining up::suspicious:

What can I say? If you look at my last two charts you can see the morning rally had failed confirming my bear flag. Then the news hit that the 3rd phase of the Moderna Vaccine has started on 30,000 volunteers. Look at the S Fund chart at the bottom of the page. Failure then off to the races. There may have been other news that I missed. We are at resistance but still within the price range. Was this an over reaction to the news? I don't know.:suspicious:

Back in the day the top leaders did a better job communicating their ideas about the market. Not that some of you folks aren't already doing that.

It appears that Sparky was in a place of safety (G fund) and then moved to an aggressive stance (S Fund) at nearly the perfect time. I'm guessing he rolled the dice in calling a bottom. If there was a tactic involved, I would say that he simply went against the herd of folks that were saying, "Don't buy into this market just yet, the true bottom is yet to come." We all heard it. Most of us were convinced that the "V bottom" was a wishful thinking. Perhaps, Sparky listened to what all of the more knowledgeable folks were saying and simply did the opposite. That's a valid tactic held by some gurus. Or, maybe he just got lucky.

Looks like we did have an over reaction to the news. I moved the Orange line to the outside so we can see if the real bottom of the channel holds. Will the 13 EMA continue as support::blink:

Nice little pop and stall this morning. Market is trying to go above the resistance line but fades back down. Maybe a low volume afternoon it can drift up but I feel 60/40 it won't. Direction is so much easier to talk about post market than trying to help figure it out prior to the deadline.:cheesy: I don't have an IFT until Monday but for those that do I don't expect any bigger moves until Friday. I zoomed in again so you can watch the red resistance line:

There you go. The market is trying to show everything I said is wrong. Maybe I was right about post market analysis is easier.
