Here comes the rally - please don't all rush the entry door at once. "There will be tricky, higher volatility days like we saw last week. There's a comfort level with megacaps. (You can ask Mrs. Birchtree). That doesn't mean small caps won't have their moments. The R2K gained 7% in January, its best start of the year since 2006, and a decline is often the natural side effect of such a steep rise. Small caps are near record highs already. The R2K hit a record high 10 months ago, and came within 4.2% of a new one on Feb. 3. The S&P 100 (OEX), meanwhile, still is nearly 26% below its March 2000 record, leaving it with plenty of room to rally." You go C fund and I fund. This is going to be a real fun year to make serious gains - but participation is required.
 
My daughter just called to inform me that her contract with BP is ending and she'll be moving on to Genentech in San Francisco - now that's what I call exciting.
 
My brother works for Genentech at the Vacaville plant. Great company, great place to work. They are very good to their workers.
 
Sorry to butt in and ask for an education but I'm trying to figure out how to get my TSP transactions on the top traders list on the main page? Where to I report my strategy so they can begin tracking me versus the big guys (and gals)?
 
Also I just left F (as of midnight tonight I hope) to go S & C with I Sprinkles on top. Did I wait to long or do you still see bright equity days ahead?

No one knows for sure if there are many good days ahead but I think the overall feeling is "hope so". Your transaction will take effect today after the market closes. You can change your mind before noon Eastern time. Remember you only have 2 IFT's for the month.
 
Sky rockets in flight - afternoon delight. The market is rallying like it's 1995. The VIX is accelerating to the downside - so it's time to be cautious.
 
My plan is VIX below 15 = move some to the "G" fund just in case there is a pullback on the short term horizon.
