Birchtree's Account Talk

My oceanic account is smiling like a cheshire cat - 98% green. Sure could use another day like this tomorrow. I have a lot of buying to do before we make new yearly highs. Actually 136 purchases before the end of June. I still think we'll see Dow 12,000 before the end of May - and my assets are where my mouth is. Staying long and strong.

I'd find something solid to hang onto as the rumble begins to gain altitude when Ferdinand and his hoofhearted friends begin to stampede - the raging bull is about to create a panic to the upside in the last hour of trading.

Birch,
I'd have to confess that my decision to abandon the I Fund was way to driven from the 'hype' -- from many.

It was a dumb move -- and in retrospect I regret making that move. With all I was hearing it seemed the evidence was too compelling. In addition it appeared the US Markets would be the better choice.

Now wish I'd left more in I Fund -- mainly to spread the investments.

My oceanic account took in $159K today - that still leaves me $238K short. Perhaps we can add value to those numbers during the remainder of the week. I sure would like to get back to my $1294K top and then beyond. I've only got 31 more weeks to make the second $M.

JTH should be here watching those transports. I would not be surprised if the VIX gets bombed out today to the 25 level. C'mon Ferdinand rock my boat and shake my booty.

The 50 day average for the SPX is around 1171 with more resistance at 1180. A little C-4 would blow us right by those fib lines. I think the strength will build as the day progresses. I'm starting to get emotionally excited.

Mindylou, have you been watching all those good folks moving back to the S fund on the day's highs. They must be thinking the S fund will reach for the previous high price of $19.54. But we don't think that way do we?

... tran above 50 dma, $emw at 50, $spx still a few ticks below... rising tide should raise all ships, huh? Even $BDI is buoyant. May switch to larger caps very soon.

Why not? I missed out on a chunk yesterday (90C, 10S) and looks the same today.

:D:D

It gave me enough for a bagel meal tomorrow morning :)

Every little bit counts.
