Birchtree's Account Talk

I'm now in the sweet spot to build buying power if the market holds its' current level. The higher we go the more money I get to throw away completing my buy list. Margin provides access to profit without having to sell shares - but there is always a downside to risk. But I have my lamb chop account in reserve to save the day.

But how do you know where the increase will end? I'm still holding F and probably will for at least the next 3-5 years.

Used the profit to buy something I wanted more. I don't have endless pockets like BT.
To each his/her own. I chose not to keep it. Bought GM.
I am a Ford guy but it has been my experience with the Big 3 minus 1 that Ford plays second fiddle to the beast that is GM. JMO

I don't see a pullback as 'over due'

I see the BULL as way 'over due' -- I mean like the good ole days :mad:

I tried to tell ya before we voted -- but NO -- you wouldn't listen

Anyway -- I may be the lone voice -- and the one crying in the wilderness all by himself.....

BUT --- I see better days ahead and I'm in to win Birch

In to Win -- take note of that one

Well we are in the first of 2 quarters of year 3 of the Presidential cycle and this could mean we rally right up into April. These two quarters should have the best returns. The 2, 4, 6 year cycles are also in an upward trajectory and there is another $600 billion of QE2 headed our way - let the ride begin.

It's shaping up to be a good day to build buying power - I can hardly wait to put more money to work. We can get a consolidation at any moment but that won't hold me back. Where else can an investor find high dividend yields and low P/E multiples but in energy stocks. Show me an SPX of 1313 on a weekly close.

All I want this month is my 2% and then running for the hills with my booty (still intact, arf :D)

My IFTs are gone, so today is probably where I make my move and hope the I fund just keeps going UP and $ at least STAYS down. :cheesy:

Love my energy basket XOM, TEG, SO, POM... pretty much I day trade leveraged ETFs, and then add to the energy basket in large chunks when they sell off. Plan to give it to my kids one day. What are you 3 favorite energy stocks, long term... over ten years? Would like to add one day, maybe next correction.

To some the Markets are scarey. WHY???

There's always the fear of buying the top of a rally - people just hate to eat pain. Any correction that retraces back to the 200 DMA would still be considered a normal intermediate correction within a cyclical bull market. I'll be buying stock all year regardless of the sentiment. This market is currently in the sweet spot and the more one owns the more the profit potential.

Birch, if I may add to this ~ my little Munchkin :nuts:

I went fully in at 'The Top' which then went over 8% that month

Now the S&P hit a new 2 year high.

A rally in 'meaningless' in terms of the day to day -- The TREND and LongTerm action so far are going up - up - up.

OK - off to lunch

Spending some of the money I earned yesterday buying wall flowers: CE, BP, AA, FOE, FHN, RT, ADC, PXP, PCX, ARM. I'll be back later with a few more choice picks. I could be looking at a $100K week - haven't had one of those in awhile.
