Birchtree's Account Talk

I would rather invest in WorldComm:nuts:

I got another 'Settlement Check' from them last week.

Yeah that was pretty flipped out -- and I sold off the thousands of stocks I bought before I lost too much.

So I get this letter telling me if I bought their stock during this time frame (which I did) -- to fill in the spaces. ;)

Enron destroyed a lot of people

From Henry To at Marketthoughts; "This bull market may still be in the beginning stages. Lowry's propriety Buying Power and Sell Pressure indices are still making new rally highs and new rally lows, respectively. Signals that institutional investors are still accumulating stocks en masse. Lowry labels this the 'Primary Buying Zone' - the period where the greatest amount of money is made by the stock market bulls. This bull in intact and has a long way to run." Watch Sarah run.

"Conclusion: The air is getting thin for the stock market. The stock market has rallied 80 percent since the March 2009 low bringing valuations metrics back to nose-bleed levels. Money supply growth has tumbled to a trickle, while stock market sentiment is back to euphoric highs. The stock market has entered the last phase of the huge bear market rally off the March 2009 low. And the next few months will probably show the topping phase the prelude of the next bear market leg."

You could call SugarandSpice for help - she's the expert on Birchtree quotes.
:D:D:D

That's pretty good

Hey now that you have the practice of getting in G Fund -- you know you can always go there anytime. Somehow ~~ it feels like the last of the thin vapors are rising to the TOP --- then the bottom falls out.

If you watch the charts too close it will jinx them -- so I'll catch up on a bunch of charts. If they're down when I get back -- I'll know you were watching too close.

Birch -- I think the 99% are convinced we are at a TOP

We've crossed the 11,000 Mark ~~ even if ~ for just a moment

Any chance we'll cross the 12,000 Mark before it's officially over ???

No way, did you see the tally when filling out today's sentiment survey... that GS flip-flop turned then turned back in favor of the bulls.

:laugh::laugh: Thanks man ~~ I needed a good laugh. ;)

I tell Birch stufff like this ~~ once in awhile ~~ cause the more he thinks the 99% are convinced we're at a TOP ...

...is all the more he comes to LIFE. :D

Anyway -- I did not see today's sentiment survey -- and I honestly had no clue how the others felt.

But -- I can say that it's nice knowing quite a few are Bullish !

When I voted, the split was approx 50/50... which flips sentiment back to a buy.

Steady,

I've been in the yard all day. When I went out the Dow was down 127 - now we're up 7.
I look for Dow 12,000 before the end of May.

Friday is 50/50. The rest of the month is supposed to be about 95% positive. This according to the sentimental survey seasonality monthly bar chart for April. Thanks for your steadying influence Birchtree. T'was a grid for the early part of the week. I made a personal best today.

Doing some buying for my lamb chop portolio: PVH, JCI, MEE, BTU, ACI, RKT. I may have to go back and pick up a few housing stocks before they get away from me.

I still stand by my rousing 3% growth in the S&P 500 for 2010 :)

That does not mean we will not be able to make a bit more though :p

"Thus it would appear that the probability of the industrials hitting the 14,000 level without significant difficulty is high, allowing for the odd pullback."

My oceanic account is currently sitting at a gain of $82K on the week - with a little omph today I might get over the $100K week finally. I need to do some more buying if strength continues.

Catching a few more wall flowers before they get more expensive: TRW, PCX, WGO, FBN, CX. That's 855 purchases since June 26th '09 - buying this rally all the way up that may last for years.
