does anybody know what the big deal is about beards these days? everybody seems to have them, beards everywhere, how come?

what is your thoughts on beards? do you have a beard? why?

there are lots of beards in sports. football, basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, and even mixed martial arts all have plenty of beards.

1. Some have always worn them because they believe it makes them more attractive.
2. Some have always worn them because they prefer not to shave (for various reasons).
3. Most just started wearing them because they see others wearing them.

Something similar with tattoos and men wearing earrings.

Humans basically are monkey-see-monkey-do type of beings.

I've worn a neat (trimmed neck/cheek-line), shadowed, but full, beard since my 20's. Points 1 and 2 apply to me.

But the real question is why is/was Corporate America so hell-bent on being "clean-" shaven?
