Fair value adjustment? Not sure. The F fund sometimes has I fund like adjustments at the whim of the TSP. The bond market actually closes an hour earlier than the stock market.

To answer your first question - as long as their is fear in the air, the F fund should do OK, particularly if they cut rates. Of curse you take your chances as a rebound in stocks could sink the bonds.

No, just Verizon. I'm not sure if it's the trees on Long Island, or that my number was not local... The connection on my phone seemed to be weak also.

But I don't usually have problems at home as it works well. It also worked well in Vegas. So I'm not sure.

I usually update the share prices between 7 PM and 8 PM ET - just after the TSP posts their prices. It is not automated so it can be late some days if i am out at that time.

Tom, I just got an e-mail at work about blocking some sites. One of the statements about sites being blocked is "Web Chat: Sites that host Web chat services or that support or provide information about chat via HTTP or IRC." Will this include this site?

I could be wrong, but I don't think this board format is considered "chat". I believe they are talking about IM type communication.

If the site does get blocked, you may be able to get it reinstated as couple of members have in the past. (Namor for one). Just explain the site's content and purpose, and they seem to comply.

I searched the MB but was unable to find the market's emotional cycle chart that was posted a few months back. I'm pretty sure I saw it in a thread somewhere on this site. It's the cyclical chart with emotions such as despair, hope, euphoria, depression and anxiety.

Anyway, I was going to try bringing that post back to life for discussion in order to gauge where the consensus thinks we are in the cycle. Do you or anybody else know where that chart is? Thank you.
