Profile just tells other people about you. You may not want that information out for everyone to veiw. It is a personal choice as is posting your allocation. You may want to jump right in or sit back a watch how everyone else is doing it. No matter what you do good luck!

Hay Tom;

I see the number of guest on line keep getting larger every day; they now out number the members on line at any given time. Now what does that tell you? They like what they see and read for free.

Swsop :) :)

Tom,

What's a search engine spider, and what are they snooping for?

Thanks
GA

A search engine spider is a tool that search engines like Google and Yahoo use to harvest keyword data for different websites. Based on the results of the analysis of that data, the associated website will either be higher or lower on searches for those keywords based on their magical search algorithms. Im pretty sure that they are also used to make the recommendations for what each pages adsense ad will be as well.

Hope that helps...

If you ever wondered how you can type in something like "TSP" into Google and get 16 million hits back in .06 seconds, it's the spiders that are constantly gathering the info. They are crawling here and every site on the web.

There are a lot of threads in the I fund forums and anyone can start one. 350 started his own to discuss his take. As long as it is active, I guess it's OK, although I see where it can be confusing. But it is fine.
