Appatites Account Talk

Well, I am all in once again. I left when the S fund hit $20.09. I can't time the bottom and this seems like a great opportunity for me at $17 plus or minus. Of course once this thing hit $15 I may have to rethink this decision.

Ahw crap! I was watching this market all day. Down until the last 15 minutes and blasted through the roof like a rocket. WTF?

Oh well, I am in now.

One day off last week brought my gains down to 6.8% instead of 11.6%. I wanted to get back out COB yesterday (All my targets/chart numbers hitting my max.) but could not make it to a computer in time. Now I feel like I may be one day off again. If everything does not fall apart I am 86.7% certain I will move out of the S fund and into a different allocation, probably mixed but possibly 100% F. Time to cross my fingers and pretend I am not a greedy SOB.

It's going to be tuff with the markets opening higher today and Europe, once again, pulling back away from the edge of the cliff.

So last month, october, i was off by one day to get in. When i hit 8% i jumped out thinking there was no way the market could keep going up. Yet it did and by the end of the month i lost another 4-5%. I did manage to end at about 9% being mostly in the F fund though. well you cant get in at every low point or out at every high point.

2 new ifts.

Being that we are now in november i really have to pick the right entry date as i plan on staying in through december and into january, unless the EU keeps gaming us.

I really want back in today but i feel the market needs to correct a bit more.

Im starting to miss all those charts jth used to post.

Instead of moving up I moved to #175.

And as of COB today I am 70% G and 30% F. Figure I have 1.3% for the month so far. Wait and see if there is a drop of a few percent in the next 3,5 or 7 days and re-enter. Even if there is no drop, I am still probably going to re-enter in 3,5 or 7 days. CAn't go up sitting in the G funds.

It has been 5 days. Seasonality has shifted back to positive. I am going to find it hard not getting back into this market and harder getting back into it at the same time. 70% certain I will be back in COB today. Waiting for noon deadline to decide.

Looks like it will be 6 days or more.

I just could not bring myself to move out of my current position.

I wonder if it has something to do with being up 1% for this year. Not huge but that is 25% of last years gains right there.

Currently i am 15% C and 85% S.

But i really want to take my ball and go home now. The ball being 3%.

Two of my many rules are jumping out at me.

1. Dont be greedy.
2. Patience. This one goes both ways as i could sit in the S fund patiently watching the higher returns or not.

Technically i met my goal for this month. Which is 2%. so i really should be going.

We'll see around noon.

Who knew that at 11:50, pretty good market loss, when I interfund transferred from 100% G to 40% G, 30% C and 30% S that the market would erase such a huge loss for the day?

Oh well.

Four months ago I moved in at the wrong time. I am now moving out right about where I left off back then. If the markets dont tank by the end of the day. 100% G

Don't feel bad - I'll pick up what you intend to leave on the table. It'll be my pleasure. This market momentum could easily run for many more days with only small give backs.

So, somehow i have managed to make a positive move this month. But my yearly gains are real bad at 6%. If i was at 10% id think about stepping out to G. But at this point, even though we are getting close to a cliff and some tops and overbought, i have to stay.

So let the party continue

overbought? quite the opposite. ultimate oscillator shows small caps just coming out of oversold position, while slow/full stochastics is saying we're still in oversold range. right now's a good time to be in

I was within minutes of pulling the plug and going G fund. Tomorrow will tell me if not moving was right nor not.

I am a bit worried now that everyone jumped on the bandwagon.
