Adult Science Quiz

12 of 13 so I must have gotten 1 or 2 guesses right. :)

You scored better than 85% of the public, below 7% and the same as 8%.

11/13 right.:embarrest: Maybe I should have been high before I took it!;)

You scored better than 75% of the public, below 15% and the same as 10%

13 of 13 - 93%

I am shocked to see the low numbers on the content of the atmosphere......

I think that alone proves my theory that people don't truly understand their Earth Science.

13 out of 13. The only one that I had to think about was the chemical reaction question.

You scored better than 93% of the public and the same as 7%.

13/13

Surprised with the general population results.

Atmospheric composition was covered in my 6th grade earth science class ;-)

Spoiler alert: If you're planning to take the quiz, then don't read this post.

Question 4: The continents on which we live have been moving their location for millions of years and will continue to move in the future. Is this statement…True or False?

This is the only one that had me thinking. The oldest rock dated is 4.5 billion years old. Plate tectonics (crust movement) began during earth's transformation, so the statement above is misleading. The continents have been moving for billions, and not millions of years (unless they're talking about 4500 million years). :D

That one made me think, but I considered what I thought their intention was.
