If you got stopped out, I'd strongly consider buying back right now. Worst case scenario, you get stopped out again. It really feels like the big boys are sticking their finger in the dyke.

double the buy orders versus sell order on many select tech names.

Good call. Were you calling for that Yesterday also?

I mentioned it on one of my posts (I'll find it somewhere). But I REALLY thought it would only be a hundred +/- points in the drop. The dollar movement the past week showed some bond movement and profit taking. I really thought alot more 50/50 splits on portfolios would have been reflected on this board. Too many people punching out here was a sure sign there would be a drop. I love how much the sample of investors on this board gives me insight into the market. I wish I wasn't on the west coast and only had until 9:00AM to make a decision.

oops...posted on wrong board yesterday (not TSP related)...not here...Sorry

This is far fetched but hear me out... What are the odds that the markets react negatively this afternoon, and a HUGE -FV happens ? Barclays has to be looking at all the people expecting a +FV and departing the "I", and then BOOOOM, they slam everyone with an overinflated -FV !

The last couple FV's were not what we expected, ever since the announcement of 2 transfers a month, Barclays has either been conservative or crazy ?!?!

Or am I the crazy one ?

I wish I was in the "F" today and "I" tomorrow instead of C/S today and "I" tomorrow.

Any estimates on the -FV ?

I don't see it bouncing back tomorrow.

The gap in S&P is around 1425-1430 before it gets filled in. This is holding now at the 200 day moving average. Could go lower next couple days to reach the gap.

Only thing to do now for those of us that are still in the I..is ride the tiger till it's up again..

Saddle up! I'm in it with you.
I'm not really seeing an upside to this except these corrections. If we would have had ZERO growth since the last cut we would have gotten the nod for 50 points. I think we are only going to see 1% ups in the market until the end of the year. If oil and gold get cold we could see better. IMHO:cool:

BTW, anyone know where Griffin posts his trades.....he's outdone ebb for the year!

Can someone help me figure out why some threads you go to the last page to see the latest post and on some threads it is at the first page? Anyway to standardize this?

I think you can just go to Display Modes pulldown menu (top right corner below the thread page numbers) and choose the Linear option and all threads should be displayed the same.

I know when I do not log in at times and read threads, I hit last page and the most current post is at the bottom of page.

When I am logged in, I hit 1 and the most current post is at the top of page.

I show I am in the linear thingy also.

When I am logged in, the most recent quote is on the first page, when I am not logged in, the most recent post in on the last page.

Maybe that is your problem.

I hope that helps.
