I calculated it at -19 cents.

The EAFE final for yesterday was -.063% which equals -1.52 cents. Rounded it equals -2 cents. The I Fund went up 17 cents. Therefore, -2 -17 = -19 cents FV.

Today, the +1.22% equals 29.56 cents. Rounded it equals 30 cents -19 cents = 11 cents. But 11 cents is kinda iffy IMO. They may round against us and it might only be 10 cents.
good call

The BOJ voted unanimously to keep interest rate unchanged at .50%. So far, USD/YEN is steady since the announcement was already priced in and also, it's at resistance.

The nikkei is up +45 points since the announcement.

CPI comes in at .7 as expected and core CPI is lower at .1. Empire state index jumps. Is this what they call "Goldilocks"?:D

So far, markets are liking it and dollar is headed down.:)

Things seem to be looking good for today so far.

The weekend party at the Hamptons is going to be big I think again. lol

Looking at currencies, the dollar is falling against all other major currencies except for the Yen. This tells me that while the Yen carry trade is alive and well, it might be over extended. And as I've said before, the USD/YEN is at or above resistance. A drastic rise in the Yen could be trouble, but it's not happening today.:D

Completely disagree. No way were going above 200. Shorts are already out by now. I see profit taking this afternoon.
I'd have to say I'd agree with Jeff. Bulls are nervous. I'd bet we see afternoon retreat of some of these gains and a red day on Monday. People who had exercised options selling the stock they bought with the option. I also think that shorts will be shorting since they will have noticed the trend Gilligan mentioned about Monday's following Quad Witching in June. We could see a short squeeze play on Monday afternoon or Tuesday.

I'm leaning toward going to the sidelines today and getting back in after the weekend.

Yeah, you guys are probably right. It might have been wishful thinking on my part.:D
