.13 would be a nice gain if I were in, but I’m still sitting on the side.

This is referring to a negative adjustment in the I fund price called an FV(Fair Valuation). It means that in this case (they are all different) (and 350z does an estimate of it with remarkable accuracy).13 cents will be deducted from the actual % loss to adjust for unusually high market movements after the close in the OSM's for the day. They adjust the price to limit people from having an "unfair" advantage going into the next day. So be happy you aren't in today. It will be corrected probably tomorrow but not guaranteed. It is hard to guesstimate them and may not be worth the trouble. Probably just confused you even more. Sorry.

G 11.90 +.01 (+0.08%)
F 11.37 +.03 (+0.26%)
C 16.49 -.13 (-0.78%)
S 20.00 -.28 (-1.38%)
I 24.00 -.14 (-0.58%)

That's all folks! We have a -FV (-.16 cents) for today on the I-fund. :)

I hope that's enough FV to contend with the Asian markets, dollar and US market. We should be glad we don't have to face the big European markets tonight (Labor Day holiday). :)

Ebb,
So far the ebbtracker is spot on. Congratulations. I followed the ebbtracker to the F fund on Friday, and followed to the I fund cob today. Hopefully we will get a bounce from Asia this evening, and hopefully the dollar will maintain its decline until we are out to the F fund for Wednesday cob tomorrow.

I tend to think that Asia will sell-off tonight. I like the I Fund Wednesday off of Tuesday's US market. Gl

It could happen. In any event, I hope we don't give back the gains from the F fund today, so that we can balance things out.

If Europe is close tomorrow, I wonder how Barclay will handle the FV correction.

Did the $ do this or the USM?

tia

It is a fudging of the books/share price baised on the major movements of the US markets or US dollar after the overseas markets close. They try to prevents us from taking advantage of extreamly large movements, one direction or the other, in the US after the overseas markets close.

thx showme. So, ebb was saying -16 fv and they took -14, so the I really only made .02? With a lot of the exchanges in Europe up, just trying to figure if it was due to USM or $ or both.

You are correct. If the USM did not tank in the afternoon the I fund would have made two pennies. Also, the FV (fair valuation) could have been worse, so be careful.

And you are very welcome. :)
