It is my belief that the markets are overbought, so yes I do expect a pullback here. Im still 100% C but will lighten that up today most likely. Good Luck all.

I have a feeling the dollar is going to fall hard on Friday due to weaker than expected GDP. It might finally break through support. Friday might be a big sell-off day in the USM.

GDP comes in at 1.3%. Much less than the 1.8% that was expected by consensus. The bigger problems were higher employment cost and energy cost. Looks like both I funders and F funders are going to get F#@% today. This is really pissing me off!

At least the dollar is helping us today. offsetting the loss in stocks. But how much lower can it go?

The lower the dollar, the longer the bull market. The 80 level is where you see nice bull moves in equities. Look back at 94-95 moves in relation to the dollar value.

It appears that yesterday's bounce in the USD was a suckers rally. It's currently sitting just above support at 80. It needs to fall through 80 first before hell breaks loose.

Good call 350z. Get on down there, dollar!

Thanks Paladin.

I hope people don't get fooled by the lack of selling at the moment. They might still be trying to get last dip buyers. The GDP news was very bad. It was stagflation. It makes it very difficult for the Feds to cut rates which is what the dip buyers are hoping for. IMO, the Feds won't cut until non-farm payroll numbers go negative.

I agree to a point. Consumer sentiment data number was very good. Right now the markets are all red. Just a feeling they will run. Next week is what bothers me. :)

I;'m showing off seven cents now, (- .07 cents) as of 11:13 am eastern.

and moving off half to the sidelines today.

It's been a nice run up, but scary stuff ahead.

Sorry I missed the 11:40 estimate. I was in a meeting.

fwiw... using TSPLookup 12:15 EDT close: -.293 or -7 cents
