Japan has been down the last few days, time for a turn-around tonight. I am thinking of staying in the I for one more day. Will see

I've been thinking the same thing also, but the fall on the USD/YEN after the housing news is bothering me. If it could rally a little in the afternoon, the Nikkei will definitely bounce. The housing news was really bad despite a modest uptick in sales.

Where do you see that? Looks like it is still going down to me. I keep saying it should turn around but I haven't seen it yet.

I agree with you fundsurfer. The dollar is stuck in the mud

I have a feeling the dollar is going to fall hard on Friday due to weaker than expected GDP. It might finally break through support. Friday might be a big sell-off day in the USM.

I disagree, I think GDP will be higher than expected. Expectations are low already. Just like earnings forcasts.

I'm thinking about selling some I fund before Friday (because of GDP), but I'll stay one more day.

Japan will have a nice night today. APPLE reporting will/should help the USMs..tomorrow. MSFT is another story, they tend to hurt the markets, they report Friday. One more day for me in the I Fund and hopefuly pulled out tomorrow.

hello,

Following the Ebb tracker, I went 100% (G->I) for COB today.
EFA started to rally after I entered

The TSP.gov site was flooded until 8:55 PDT, but I got in with 2 minutes to spare.
First time I did an IFT in the last minute. I was locked out between 8:40 and 8:55 -- sheesh almost didn't make it in.

Regards to all and thanks to JayHawker for estimates and the TSPLookup.zip tool. I have it running in Excel 2k (contrary to system requirements) on WinXPsp2.

You're welcome.

It's good to know that it will work in Excel 2000 running XP.

I'm not really surprised though. There's nothing in it that shouldn't work in 2000. It should work. But I beta-tested it on two different PCs running Excel 2000 on WIN98 and I could not run the macros using the icons. The macros would run from Tools>Macros>Run but not from the icons.

Ed.
