I'm sure the British Govt. is happy to get them back, especially after the embarassment of them going on TV and "admitting" to having crossed into Iranian waters.

Of course, I don't know all the circumstances, but their goverment will be expecting explanations from them for sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was totally staged/planned by Iran.

Capture some soldiers in an area that they could marginally say the soldiers were in the wrong place.

Hold them for awhile, then out of the goodness of their hearts release the infidels.

If/when the US doesn't reciprocate Iran can point to their grand gesture, and make the US look bad/mean to the rest of the world.

The U.S. would have detained then deported the first day. We bend too easily to show we care I think.

I don't know but these soldiers don't appear to have been tortured. And could somebody explain to me how they were captured in the first place? Weren't there any support flying around?

FV's are only used if after 12PM the market/dollar changes +/-0.5%. That's everybody's best guess right now. Their have been a few FV's that no one could explain.

According to the above statement from the TSP we should have less that one FV per week. Sometimes we have multiple FVs in a week and sometimes we go for weeks without a FV.
