No kidding! I'm in the "I" 100%, it's having a big day, and I'm going to lose money! That's just not right!!!

Wrong. All of the I funds gain was yesterday after the cut-off. You were not in the I fund yesterday. Your in the I fund today and the EAFE is down today and the dollar is up(bad for I fund).

That's why they have the FV.

Sorry

Not right either. The dollar dropped after the OSM was closed but that did not account for all of the FV, only about 1/3 of the FV. The rest of the FV was based on futures/guesstimate (OSM was closed so they have to guess at a price). I think they are poor guessers.

Anyway, ATCJeff's sentiment was right. The gain happened yesterday (sort of).

I understand how things work. The +FV yesterday was due to the US market rise after the cutoff.

You're half right. I wasn't in the I yesterday so the +43 cent FV is going to hurt me today. That part is correct. But the EAFE is UP - big - today.

Almost time for a estimate before the deadline

anyone>>>? 350z always posts at 11:45am , but he is in training

Yeah, I ALMOST know how you feel...LOL.....I went to 90G, 5S, 5I for today after being "ALL IN' yesterday......about time something went right for me, I have been whipsawed so much that I have to wear a neck brace!!!!!!

I disagree. EAFE is down today. Down 0.57% By today I mean since 9:30am, not since the cutoff yesterday.....

Hmmmm..... Wish Wheels were here to explain this.

The URL you listed is an index traded fund, not the actual market. The index traded fund was up too far after the overseas markets closed yesterday and is thus correcting itself by heading back down today. The actual overseas markets are green.
CNN World Markets page What you have referred to as going down is an exchange traded fund heading down because speculation on where OSM would go today was too high.

MSCI EAFE = +1.794%

I'm way off, I must have gotten the calculation when the dollar wasn't down as much. :cheesy:

So it is a loss about .35%..not too bad. I have to download that spreadsheet. Sorry to keep asking about the estimate. Been rather busy with other things.

+1.794 is +42 cents. With the -43 cent FV adjustment from yesterday, a -1 cent share change. It could have been a lot worse for those that got in today! :)

EU Summer Time starts this Sunday. That'll make the estimates a little easier to make.
