Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

just like everyone else

Reading the news with a woman's intuitive eye is NOT "just like everyone else.":notrust: I think I'm missing a few 3rd, 4th...100th order effects when I read the news.;)

So, what's your take on that astronaut?
How about the bird flu in England?
The child porn bust?
Steve Jobs and iTunes?

You're right, us guys don't like to here about that intuition stuff. Can you chart it?

Well, until then, though, I'm watching your moves, Gal.

I asked my wife the same thing. It didnt go over too well. Although now I can attest to the quality of my couch as a decent place to sleep if the occassion arises. (again)

Hello, new to the board

I enjoy 350's update on the I fund and thank you for it. My gameplay is to make 12% a year, 1% a month by trading. Last year, I beat every fund, was up just under 30%. At any rate, I have a feeling, there are too many bulls in the market. CSCO lead the way today;however inflationary pressure is still in the fed's mind. Now that earnings are winding down, I believe the markets are looking for any reason to sell-off. Thank you for time ;)

Also oil seems to be heading back up into the

60s range, that worries the Fed. The dollar should push up tomorrow based on interest rates overseas. I went 100% into G, will wait for more data.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on last year's return. Please feel free to post your opinions. Anybody that made close to 30% year must know what they're doing.:)

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Up .490% or 11 cents.

Griffin, Wheels, S&S, what about you guys?

Well for starters I am probably the last guy you want to ask as I have been on the wrong side quite a bit in the last 6 months. I am currently all G and like many others here, frustrated that the "pullback" hasn't happened yet. I also agree that getting in now could be very risky. If Griffin were here he would tell me that I was being stubborn and to be more willing to admit that I was wrong and to not let it effect my decisions going forward. All that being said, here I sit still in the G. One thing that bodes well for those of you jumping back in at these supposed bloated prices, is that there are quite a few on the sidelines waiting for the elusive correction, and as they capitulate, like some of you are doing now, and as the shorts start to get squeezed, which should start happening now, there could well be another strong push up. I hope I'm wrong.

BTW - How was that for a run on sentence with far too many commas?

... we musta' had the same english teacher... also, I think the people that bought in today just foreshadowed buying the dip... ummmm, yeah, that's the ticket.

Just an idea ,fwiw

If you grab the penny every week on the G fund, thats adds up to @4.68%. Now, you have 4 trading days to try to play the markets. On some occasions, you might want to skip the penny from the G, if you feel the markets will pop. Also, sometimes the G pays out every 4 days, you might miss the penny. But lets say you grab 4% per year being conservative, you now have 12 months to try to make 6% or better to historically beat the market(10%). Just my 2 cents. ty

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

C fund turns negative.

S is still not bad.

I is the place to be today. Yeh. That's where I'm sitting at the moment.

Bulls with a foreign accent rule.

I would agree him(not about you being stubborn). I never let yesterday's decision affect todays decision. If the market doesn't behave like I want it to, then I need to figure out why. I don't mind admitting that I was wrong.

You cannot look back when trading, plan ahead

and forget the past, good or bad. I never allow anyone/anything effect my trade. An educationed guess, is all we are doing. Focus on the present and tomorrow.

Bravo

Amazing the S Fund is up

5% this year. I am lagging behind at 2.51%. Last year, I also started slow and beat the markets. Well, time will tell. :)

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

people tend to believe you more if you are tracked. Thier is a big difference between saying you got 30% last year and doing it. Post your moves on the tracker.
