At the morning break (10:30 eastern time), the Nikkei is up +1.15%

But Dollar now stronger, at 116.49 yen, up 0.38%.

The rising Yen is spoiling the party in Japan. At one point, the Nikkei gave it all up. The futures are already red. If the Yen continues to rise, Friday's +FV is going to hurt real bad. I wonder if that news, over the weekend, about another German back blowing up is the cause of this.

I noticed a big spike in the Yen after the market closed. Something bad is happening. Was there some bad news after the bell?

The S&P futures don't show any signs of bad news yet.
