Yesterday's -FV was 30 cents.

Evidently, I did not recall correctly. Thanks for the correction.

ATCbullet, I agree with you. This market is extremely volatile and panicky, but it's not that way for no reason at all. We're looking at up to $500 billion (worst case?) in losses from insolvency. Countrywide is tapping an entire $11.5 billion credit facility to try and save itself, and no one really knows where past credit market shenanigans will turn up next. There's ample reason to think things are not yet at the bottom.

Estimate by ChemEng spreadsheet at 11:36: down 2.89%. After the fv correction, that's about -1.57% (-$.36), before any additional fv this afternoon.

Beware the 30 cent FV calculation you are using.

Remember, yesterday's FV was on top of the FV the day before, and does not accurately represent where the FV SHOULD be. Any NEW FV will be much trickier today to predict:

I'm showing "I" now down (-.66) cents as of 12:21pm.

there was a -.30 FV yesterday, correct?

MY OPINION !!

tommorow or monday will be much worse , I was in for a bounce .
But all broke support if we do go up from here we will return to here to test .

S&P 1370-5 will be key. If that doesn't hold, oh boy.....

Tomorrow could be a good buying opportunity for the S fund. HP is expected to report good earnings tomorrow after the bell. It might be just what the market needs. Especially if we have panic tomorrow. I'm going to stay away from the I fund because of FVs.

S&P just bounced off 1370.

We've come back up off the lows in several indices, but still at or below the levels at 11:36 am.

MSCI EAFE at -3.04% today.
