Man, I hate going against the EBB. Europe coming back leaves the door open for a big plunge tomorrow should we tank this afternoon. Even with a - fv I think its not wortrh the risk in this environment. FWIW.

If we end up a little green or even a little red, I feel the OSMs will be doing cartwheels. :)

Ebb... I didn't follow the ebbtracker (contrarian) to the I fund on Monday nor did I go to the G yesterday, much to my regret!
However, from now on I'm going to follow the ebbtracker religiously! I'm in the I fund tomorrow.
Looks like the USM's are flat or slightly green for today. Hopefully that will make the OSM's do double back flips tonight so the I fund is good for tomorrow! G L to all.....

:cheesy: 16 Days till FERS retirement!

Oops, it looks like I spoke too soon!
What the heck happened to the USM's???
Was there more bad news or another nasty rumor?

recession is next without the FED cutting rates

The consumer is starting to feel the pain. They will stop spending and it will backfire on the FED. Forget inflation!! Real estate sales are the worst in 16 years and lenders are locking the vault for new loans. Look at Home Depot,Macys, Walmart and etc. This is very bad. Go to Craig's list, the real estate pages are full of new listings because many are trying to sell with paying the commission. The home values are declining. Bad signs all across the board. Ebby is doing a great job this week bucking the thread...AMAZING JOB

True 12%.

We need capitulation before we see a "true" bottom.

I will be a buyer if I feel right about an IFT.

Look at my last post's.

I'm thinking 12,000 before 14,000

What sucks for me is I'm vacation starting Saturday for 1 week. Love to be on vacation and still be in touch per se' but don't know about any internet access where I am going. :(

everyone is saying that, i doubt it.

this break downward is very bad news. I think foreign funds will tank overnight.

I moved 100% "I" today, thinking that I'd catch the bounce up tomorrow. this last hour slide rules that out, in my book. We've got a lot more downside pressure coming.

This is going to be painful ahead.

Yes, it is. This is a very uncertain market, and every bit of bad news sends things reeling. People have no reliable means of predicting when the next shoe will drop.

I've been bullish on the I-fund for a long time, and will be again in the future, but for now I'm staying all F, and my plan is to do so until I see a 2-3 week time span without substantial bad news. Too bearish?
