Re: I keep staying in...

figuring the worse is over and I di not want to lock in losses and miss gains.....but how long do I hold this train of thought??? After losing about $25K so far, it makes me wonder....any words of wisdom out there??? Hello, is anyone there?!?!!!?!?

HELP!!!!!!!

:)

nibble in on the way up, nibble out on the way down...the past 8 trading days certainly looked like consolidation around support of 1430

or

jump on the ebbtrain :)

RSI on the DW4500 is in the low 30s, SP500 in the mid 30s and EFA in the low 30s. We should see a bounce up soon before we go much lower (if we are in fact going lower).

The newbie's out there need to just take a deep breath and relax. This is nothing like 2000-2002 when I lost over $60K because we couldn't move our money in and out like today.

I remember it well! :( I had a one-time high balance at the end of 9/2000. I didn't have the same balance again until 11/2003! Three + years it took me to make that money back!

I hope it ends here. Appears different this time.

It is different this time. Listen all around you to the news. Look at the charts and you will see. Banks f'd up bigtime. Heck my house triple'd in value. Luckily I live in a nice area. My home is paid for. I feel sorry for anyone that took out a teaser loan to buy a home and cannot afford to pay for it now.

Stay out of equities unless you feel a sure shot. I don't think this market is done correcting yet.

I think it took me until about March 2004 to get it back but that doesn't take into account the additional 10% per year of my future contributions so I am not sure when I made it all back (possibly just last year) discounting new contributions.

After FTSE 100 tanks tomorrow could be a good time to buy back in the I like Yesterday. It all depends if they finish on the low of the session tomorrow. If they bounce back I would stay away.
