We collectively need to "wish" stocks to a late afternoon rally, so we can collect the +FV on our trip to safety...power of positive thinking - in numbers!

So concentrate!

Art Bell from Coast to Coast sez we can do it.

All together now...............HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

com'on ebb do the Cramer buybuybuy!!!!! ;)

By the way I'm counting on you for at least 45% this year. No pressure or anything.

I think it's going to be close for us getting a -0.5% UfV. I don't think so but it will be close. What do ya'll think?

I don't see how there could be a -FV. The S&P was only down about 0.26% and the NASDAQ was unchanged from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. We usually need to see at least a 0.5% change to trigger the FV. The dollar moved up slightly but not enough to matter.
Unless Barclay stuffs one down the throat. We are due for a fv. Hope they do not for the I Funders. At any rate, nice job EBBy....I was in the S Fund and took a little hit. We will get it back next week. I am thinking 14200s area next week. More earnings next week!!

At 11:35 AM ET, the EFA chart was showing 82.81. It closed at 82.41 and that's a move of -.48%. I say close, but no cigar. I can also do a quick look using the "one hand rule." Go down to the EFA chart below this page and use the tip (index finger) of the hand (cursor) to touch the line at around 11:30. You'll notice that the bottom of the hand is still lower than the line at the end. Yep the 82.41 close still ends up higher than the bottom of the hand, so there's no FV. Notice also the length of the hand cursor from tip to bottom (.5)!

Note: You can only use the one hand rule when the EFA chart starts showing in increments of .5 like it does now (82.0, 82.5, 83.0, etc.)

Of course, Barclays can do whatever and whenever they please to mess it up. ;)

I'm 100 percent on maybe for the FV.

ebb's forecast, the I fund is a go for Monday.

Frixxxx, the ebbchart is showing F-fund for Monday.

The OSMs should suffer some more from today's action. :(

We could be buying at a cheaper price. :)

12% thanks, and like your baseball analogy says, it's a long 9 innings...so let's focus on the next inning.

Using the EFA chart, I'm touching the line at around 11:30 and you see the bottom of the hand much lower than the line at the end. That means that the movement from 11:30 to COB was less than the .5% necessary to trigger an FV. The hand is exacly the height of the EFA increments (.5). ;)

The One Hand Rule:

G Fund $12.03 --- 0.00%
F Fund $11.30 +.03 +0.27%
C Fund $17.14 -.21 -1.23%
S Fund $20.89 -.25 -1.20%
I Fund $25.28 -.10 -0.40%
