Take yesterday's closing price of the I fund and mutliply by 0.0072. That will come out very close.

My only concern for tomorrow being in the I Fund is that the US DOLLAR might bounce back. I stood in the C FUND for tomorrow because of that reason. However; the 4th and 5th are other story.

I don't know that I've ever seen that large of an "after hours" change in any of the funds before. That's over half the day's gains in 19 minutes. Is it dollar related? Does it accurately predict any overnight performance in OSMs?

Do not bother with that After hours with the EFA. Reasons are the OSMs have not open yet and currency rates for the following day are not seen. Very inaccurate to say the least. So do not waste your time.

I saw that trade too, but it popped back up to 81.94. I usually attribute those spikes to an unfortunate individual's stop getting taken out by a quick fingered market maker, or another unfortunate and dislecsic individual placing a sell order for 81.09 vs. 81.90, again a quick fingered mm, or just a typo somewhere along the order route.

Japan slightly higher.

Europe strongly higher.

Dollar still taking a licking against other currencies.

Looks like another good day for the "I" fund may be ahead.

U.S. stock markets will close at 1 p.m. ET and bond markets closing at 2 p.m. ET ahead of July 4. U.S. financial markets will be closed Wednesday.

I wonder if a TSP IFT at 11:45 am would actually get posted at EOD....

An hour and 15 minutes before your trade would be a lot better than 4 hours. It would also tell us it was possible for the system to handle. I'd love to see our trade deadline moved back some.

I think I'll make at least a minor trade before the deadline to see what happens. (Have not decided to stay put or not yet.)

All in and waiting to decide on a move if any b4 the deadline today. Seems like the overall indication as of now is to jump out. Basing this on the Ebbchart, daily comments and overall comments on the board. Do you all agree?

We have had a good run and we could go higher, but the risk is high. I looked at the FTSE chart and they seem to have some room to grow, but the dollar is the other factor and it has taken a real beating the last few day. I would seem it is due a little relief rally and I hope it is today.

You have pointed out very persuasive reasons to pull out today. Seasonality favors staying in the stock funds, but in my case, l am going to the G fund today for the same reasons you have posted. If everything is well, I'll reconsider the matter after July 4th. I've had a fantastic recovery from the losses sustained since June 4 or thereabouts. For me it's time to be conservative. Happy Fourth of July everyoneW!!!
