350Z's 2007 I Fund Thread

We're getting our estimates from Yahoo, but their tickers (for Europe) are set late now. :blink: They used to give us up to the minute tickers. What happened?

Something's all screwed up. Yahoo (CNN) says that the FTSE closed down 0.57% (-1.16%) and the DAX was down 0.64% (-1.36%). What gives??

Yahoo charts has been 15 minutes late since the start of the month. It is worst now because of daylight savings time. We changed our clock but the OSM did not. Not yet anyway.

The OSM closed before the sell-off really took place look at the 12:00 est.deadline http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=^IXIC&t=1d&c= This should hurt the I tomorrow. Why? you have the Asian markets that have rallied in the last week(short-term overbought) they will should follow the USM , dollar( oversold short-term). The markets are falling now.

Thanks for the links NyteTracker! So, it is true FTSE and DAX closed down -1.16% and -1.36%, respectively. The I-fund is taking a beating today.

Im looking to I fund today for a potential FV play... Action frm opening down has tended to increase before 12 and then afternoon selloff. I suppose lunchtime gives them more time to digest the situation. If it looks similar, then Im moving to I.

I was looking for this to happen today. But I changed my thoughts to stay on the lilly pad instead of trying to catch the FV play. Methinks tomorrow there will a big hole for I fund to climb out of even with the +FV help.

On big move days it can be tough to be too accurate. It just takes a key stock or two getting really pounded to throw off an estimate. OSM are also closing a little later due to daylight savings. They got to sell the selloff start in the US.

Jayhawker, it's just that the market tanked after our noon cutoff and Yahoo was not updating on time.

As of 3:30 EST, we are looking at a -.25 cents FV and if we include the -.17 cents we have from the I-fund today, that's a total of -.42 cents. Ouch!

Final FV would be between -.30 and -.35 cents. I'd like to think -.35 cents 'cause I'll need all the cushion I can get for tomorrow. So, for the I-fund it could be down by as much as -.52 cents for the day.
