The small caps are the laggard of the bunch. It gave back (2.57) in 4 trading days vs. (1.03) in the I FUND 4 days. (2.12) in the C Fund 4 days.

Remember our last no brainer last week(Thursday/Friday). Barc put the screws to us with a higher +FV. Ended up losing 11 pennys Friday. Think I'll keep 50% in US markets and put the other 50% on the I.

Jeff

I thought our last no brainer was on the Friday when the Fed cut the discount rate. We only made a penny the following Monday because of it.

Actually, the I fund is the laggard today. It finished down .130%. It's only making money because of the -FVC. As long as we don't get a +FV today, the I fund should be huge tomorrow.:)

we shall see tomorrow!!! Btw..I look at %s and the S FUND is the laggard. Today, the I Fund is the winner so far and was down 2.41 vs. 2.33 for the S Fund yesterday.

Looks like another +FV from the action today.

I remember posting last night that Nikkie was down 2.93%.

Call my doctor, I've got a bad case of wiplash!

you are looking at a @ +30 cents fv, that was part of the reason why I bailed to the S Fund. The afternoon BS. That +fv always sucks if you are entering the I FUND the next day. Hate that!! Barclay needs to change this policy.

Heh - well, I'm in the I-fund today and tomorrow, so any fv will even out...
For people in it today and tomorrow, youare fine. However;for new entries, it is unfair. They have to start the day with a ( 1.30%). That is why it is hard to trade the I Fund.

I agree. Of course, I think it's hard to trade on a day-to-day basis, anyway, given the 12:00 deadline for IFT's. A lot can happen in the afternoon that can impact any of the funds the following day.

That's one reason why I think it's better to look at long-term trends with respect to the TSP (though I'm giving Ebb's system a fair shake right now).

Is that the MBS?
It'd be nice to see Barclay's exercise a bit of restraint for a change. They have way overshot the last couple of +FV's.:worried:

The +FV should be 20 cents. But since I went 100% I fund instead of spreading it around, Barclay will probably give us the MBS of +28 cents.

I think I need to go sacrifice a chicken or something.....
