12% I have the same feeling that the I will have a good night. Although I think we'll see the gains from the European market tomorrow, not from the Far East markets tonight. I think the Far East markets will not have much of a move tonight.

early estimate +.17 cents. I am not going into the G Fund until we see the 14000s. These MMs want to close it above it. The OSMs looking great this morning and I think we will see it go higher with the DJIA until the 14k. The 14k really means crap, it is just a number, but these cheerleaders on CNBC have to sell commercials. IMO like I mention in my posts last week before we rallied from 13500s that 14200 seems like a number to hit before we get a correction.....Hey what do I know????

Ok,

If anyone would like to chime in on a debate in my office about the I Fund: here's your chance.

Hypothetically---

Now, we all know the I Fund is not a stock. Stocks behave differently and funds are at the mercy of the manager. Now, the question that is posed and debated in my office (very heatedly) is that one day the share prices of the fund will have to be enticing for people to "buy in". I.E. If the I fund gets to $50/share, a GS-05 saving $75 into TSP will not want to get 1.5 shares. So, to keep it enticing, they may "split" the shares to keep the price down (marketing). I personally cannot see this happening, BUT I'm not an expert.

Any takers?:D

They won't split the I fund. I don't think they split funds period. A 1% gain is a 1% gain no matter the price of the fund.
