A million chinese opening up accounts every week to get in on the gold rush. Let's see, they have over 1,300,000,000 people in China. Nah...we still got lots of time before the bubble bursts.

All the same, I'd be keeping one eye on China. :D

The I Fund is going to be HUGE tomorrow:
Asian Stocks Advance to 1-Week High; Sumitomo Mitsui, BHP Gain:
Sumitomo Mitsui jumped 4.7 percent

BHP added 0.6 percent to A$31.36. Rio Tinto Group, the second-biggest mining company by market value and third by production, gained 0.9
Copper futures for July delivery gained 7.7 cents, or 2.3 percent

Last Sunday I saw a segment on TV (not sure if it was 60 Minutes) where a guy by the name of Negroponte was interviwed. His group has produced a basic, very inexpensive, waterproof p/c being distributed to children/schools in very poor areas of the world like Asia, Africa, and South America, This will allow kids in remote villages without much electricity or telephones to have wireless access to the internet. The program also showed Intel is in on the game. This will most likely result in an explosive, learning opportunity to raise levels of knowledge and participation worldwide. It is no doubt a great idea and most important development.

Yeah, but the majority of them are too poor and rural to even know what the internet is.

Yeh, read last year about this guy"s organization. They developed a computer that cost $99.00 to 199.00. They donate these and software to the community schools. I think Red Hat has something to do with it.

Im not sure its Red Hat, but its definately Linux. Im not even sure its possible to buy a license for Windows less than $199--let alone buy the components for it.

Now back to your regular I fund discussion... :)

You're welcome!

@10:40 EDT:
TSPLookup: +.35% or +8 cents.
bloomberg.com: +.34% or +8 cents.

The US$ is down in the past hour.

European markets seem to be trending lower toward the close. US markets have been flat to down since the open. (Opening money sometimes called dumb money.) I'm definitely thinking of getting out of I-fund for tommorrow.

I-fund looks poised for big move up or down. US markets sem to be at top of channels but could be pushed up in euphoria of new highs. If they drop following a new high OSM will follow. Seems risky to me.

Please explain how this Eafe index link is interpreted throughout the trading day in relation to the end of day of the european and US markets. Thanks in advance.

EAFE Final: +.259% or +6 cents.

jayhawker... Looks like we got hooked!!! We had a FV of -2 and it looks like the I closed at 0% (according to TSPLookup), therefore we lost 2 cents! That sucks! Guess I should have been in the S fund.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.... GL to all!!!

The dollar is overbought short-term. Looking for teh EURO/YEN/Pound to pop. Also the I Fund is overdue for a huge pop. The S Fund had one yesterday. Today the F Fund smacked me. Easily can make that up tomorrow and then some.
