350zCommtech's Account Talk

So, obvious I Fund play = lots of IFT's in/out of I fund = FV to minimize effect on buy & holders, which usually means screwing the IFT's. OK then, until this crap settles out and we either prove them wrong about their "limits" or they actually implement them, I Fund IFT's will continue to be screwed.

Yes.

Would somebody please remind me about today, the next time I want to go 100% I fund.

So maybe tspgo knows something we don't since he ignored it too. ;)

Sorry Anidoc. I wish I could say that I do.

I just plug numbers. I had the change of the S&P as 0.38 and the change of the dollar as -0.17. I add those two and got 0.21. I had the DOW change at 0.25 then I took the average as my possible result =.23

Good luck!

No, TSPgo was just using the S&P, that was how he got +25-30FV. He was not even looking at the dollar.

Z: Not sure were you go the -0.30.
I had -0.14

I was just quoting your FV(today's) range.

I should have said 0.25 to 0.30. I was referring to the S&P and DOW change.

By the way, you have not lost anything. I think we will be making a few bucks with the I-Fund. The OSM market will react to the USM. The USM should continue up tomorrow and level up on Thursday. (good day to get out). Watch it Friday. Expect lots of profit taking and people bailing out on Friday.

Good luck!

Thanks,

I hope you're right.

Good luck.

So, I'd like some opinions....

If you weren't in the market today, would you jump in now based on what you saw today and what looks like the Fed willing to do whatever it takes to keep this market afloat? Is this the point where we have a short/intermediate term rally worth getting a piece of?

Just wanna know what you smart guys think. Thanks.

Z is the Captain but tomorrow could be a good day not 400 good but I would take 50 -100 points up on the Market VISA IPO may set the tone ------

The world's largest processor of credit and debit cards sold 406 million shares at $44 apiece to easily eclipse the previous U.S. record IPO of $10.6 billion set by AT&T Wireless eight years ago. The IPO price topped the range of $37 to $42 per share that Visa set three weeks ago just before its executives began meeting with institutional investors and analysts to drum up interest.
If investment bankers exercise an option on another 40.6 million shares, Visa's IPO will end up raising $19.7 billion before expenses.
Visa shares, trading on under the "V" ticker symbol, are scheduled to begin trading Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange. The San Francisco-based company will debut with a market value of about $36 billion.
