350zCommtech's Account Talk

Yeah, I'm sweating bullets...:)

Sounds like we are in the same dingy with 30 point waves. I'm going to make myself go away and not look until the close so that I don't jinx us. Good luck everyone. Everyone together ..................... hummmmmmmmm. :D

The good news:

CSCO's earnings were ok, not great but ok. Maybe it's bad news?

The bad news:

S&P closed below the 200 at 1475.
RUT looks down right ugly.
The Yen got stronger in the afternoon. Some unwinding of the Yen carry trade(thank God it wasn't a major one). The Yen needs to turn around tonight or we're going to see this in the Nikkei tonight.

CSCO has great number, however; the news was already factored in. I was wrong about this market. The pulse is pretty bad, there is word on the street thatabout $500 billion will be written-off.(TEASER RATES) Banks are in serious trouble and the FED can only do so much. They will cut on Dec. 11th, this will only go so far.

We got another good bounce off 1450, but it needs to get legs. I think we'll see a recovery this afternoon.

F fund up 2 at the moment.

Glad I don't own any shares of E-trade- but....

That still doesn't help us break this downward spiral that is hitting the S&P this month. We dropped to 1446 this morning, before rebounding slightly.

I cannot see if we are going to reverse direction anytime soon- or if that was it.

The economy is not on strong legs, and all these breakdowns and writdowns are bound to have a serious affect on all stocks.

I wouldn't trust anything we're seeing right now. We might not see any real action until this afternoon or tomorrow. I would not be surprise if the Nikkei opens down again tonight, but the BOJ might cause a rally in their second half. I hope the rally can hold off until Wednesday.:D
