I'm conflicted today...this wave peetered out way too fast...the Citibank news shouldn't have shocked anyone, the oil news is a continuing problem, the rest of it appears to be flack...

I also think it will "almost bounce back" today...I'm guessing we'll close - 5 points in the S&P..

A +FV is expected for tommorow, plus the Nikkei is due a down day..FTSE will probably rebound so mixed results there..

So, are we going to get a dead cat bonce tomorrow..There's still more economic news forthcoming...so jobs is going to be the big driver..

I'm thinking if GDP is good, CPI seems to be in check, how can jobs be so bad...

I'm guessing S tomorrow is the smart bet...but I'm not certain

I agree. The I fund should be avoided due to the possible +FV.

No, we got robbed and what's done is done.. They went conservative, which was unusual. Your only hope today is for the USM to rally in the last hour. If we get enough short covering, it might happen. 12% seems to think it will.

Yup, we closed just a hair under at 1508.46. Looks ok to me.

August 9th...I remember it all too well. That day we saw the S&P -44.40, DOW -387.18.

Congrats, Z...You and one other member shown on the tracker make up the elite "winner's club" today. (of those who don't have their IFT's blocked, I should add) Two out of 108 being tracked, if you count the stock funds entries, ain't too shabby. So many 100%'ers dropped down today, it moved me UP on the list, even though I was one of the "LOSERS" too...just not 100% in. Here's to hoping you made the correct move today, for Friday. I'm arootin' for ya.(actually, I'm rootin' for myself):nuts:

I'm superstitious, so I don't want to jinx us for tomorrow, but I will say one think. At the moment, the currency markets are saying we are going to ........
