12%ayear's Account Talk

I am a feeling markets will sell-off (Friday)before the weekend. The smart money is going on the sideline for now. PPI numbers get released at 8:30 est. I want to be safe then sorry. Retail sales will be bad over the weekend with the cold weather and oil prices are going higher based on useage/demand. Also,Iran is still in the backburner. Do not like the mood of the markets.:)

Call me nuts, but I smell a rally this afternoon. The markets seem to want to bring that 12500 range and run today.

I had a feeling this morning and yesterday that this was a set-up for a nice green day. Markets looking great now, however;Friday is another story. The I Fund worries me a tad. The Dollar will start to gain support and if we obtain a sell-off, the I is the most fragile of the selections. T.S.P. should have a fund that Shorts, like the Ultra Short Fund...too bad..because we could make a ton of cash on it. They are trying to come out with a REIT Fund.....good luck on that one LOL:)

Nice close, +.62%. Banking it and will wait on the sidelines for new entry. Had a feeling that the markets were bluffing . Markets are skating on thin ice. Careful where you step. Oil prices are going higher and earnings season is here.

Nice calls 12%. The fact that the indices made a lower low, but could not make higher highs does increase the risk factor for tomorrow.

This market has trap written all over it. I smell a sell-off. Low volume and really no great news. Looking for a pull-back. Went to the F Fund for Monday and will see what the weekened brings in terms of news. Also watch that US DOLLAR. It will surprise many who think that it will stay down forever. EURO is a great short.

Oops. I didn't realize you already made this comment when I wrote on my thread. :o
Well, at least I'm not crazy if you are thinking the same thing. You're making some great calls, 12. Keep it up.

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070413/pocketbook_pressures.html?.v=3 This will be the downfall of the markets. The markets have been on tear since March 5. Everything is up in terms of pricing. Housing is sluggish and inflationary pressure resumes. I locked my profits yesterday and up 10.86% for year. Merick helped the DJIA this afternoon. I want to see some form of pull-back, 2-3 down days before I buy in. Careful, because it feels like a trap befor the rug gets pulled IMO.The economy is all about spending. Consumers will be feeling the pinch. I have a feeling the second half of the year will not be good. Earnings will have to go down.

I certainly hope you are right. I don't cherish having to DCA the C fund at $17.00 pricing. I don't get to buy as many shares.

:)Better to be safe then chase markets. Let it come to you. That is how people get burned by seeing the markets go up everday and then throw in the towel and chase, only to caught the sell-off. GL
