That sounds a little odd. So they will pay us leave accrued on lump sum annual leave days for which we will be paid??? Any recent retirees out there who were paid for lump sum annual leave amounts. Did they compute it based on your A/L balance at date of retirement or some other method? Just curious, as jr said not a game changer either way.

I don't know about the forward projection, if that is correct I like it. I believe your Agency, not OPM, calculates and pays you the lump sum payment out of the operating budget, not S&E. My Time and Attendance clerk has to certify my final PP T&A and audit my leave balances, submit them to HR. I have already submitted PP26 and know my final hours. I am told I will receive the lump sum payment in about 3 weeks after I retire.

I got mine in 8 days!

I just retired the end of Sept, it was the middle of a pay period. My next check was a full one, then a half one, then the next was my left over annual leave...

I was CSRS and retired on the 3rd of January. I believe it was including the pay raise, so rate of pay X the number of hours, mine was over $15,000.

Nice! I took about a month or so off and moved to SW Florida before I officially retired, so mine wasn't any where that... :)

It's official...CSRS retirees got a 1.5% COLA for 2014...Got my notice today.

My insurance went up 10 bucks and Medicare $4.
