World Banks/Federal Reserve. A To-do In 2008!

If you do nothing else in 2008, listen to this history/education on the World Banks and the Federal Reserve. This link is a 3.5 hr movie on the history of our current Monetary System.

It’s worth a Master’s level course (well, I never studied economics) on the need for Monetary Reform in the US and Worldwide.

I hope the issue isn’t too abstract for people’s interest and commentary. It is my New Year’s wish to know more and have all of the board members’ insights and thoughts on this intriguing and complicated explanation of monetary theory.

Thank you Rod. I was ¾ into this video-like Matrix simulation (understanding I’ve never been into video games) when I noted that one can download the information in a pdf file. Did you notice that? This presentation emphasizes our particular Constitutional American History and our American Laws in the development of the World’s Economic Monetary System and offers a solution in religion. I certainly need a better understanding of our Constitutional history and Laws. I would tend to suspect that our current religious institutions would be more complicit in the dynamics and secretive nature of the World Banks and the Federal Reserve than offering a solution.

Thank you for responding to my post and adding a few more dimensions to my understanding of what seems to be a serious problem with the basic, seemingly subversive foundations of the World’s Economy.

I would appreciate continued comments on this issue – if and when people have the patience and time!

Yes, I did notice the PDF... BUT did not realize the religious solution (in which I would have to agree with you on to a certain extent.)

I got as far as the Fed Reserve (when I associated it with your post), then read the entire PDF today.

Religion aside, it is a rather interesting read.

:blink: Doesn't this proposed system, since you can use gold to buy anyone's currency, only result in countries with sizable gold reserves making the rules? Mexico, South Africa, and even countries, militias or anyone with military power willing to use any methods to control mining of minerals of high value?

And since we are currently at war, doesn't that mean that printing money will simply move from the Federal Reserve to the Treasury and will continue in an uncontrolled manner since during a time of war money supply is not restrained to growing 3 percent or so a year? And wouldn't this unrestrained printing of money simply lead to hyper-inflation, and a possible crash of the dollar as other countries demand gold instead of $ for their goods and more importantly, minerals and petroleum and other resources that aren't availble at a high enough level to sustain the U.S. withing the U.S.?
