Be vigilant my friends. If you are closing in on retirement and are counting on your TSP as a significant source of income this is a very dangerous market.
I do have 3 extra bedrooms. If you feel the need to play with fire, I'll leave the light on.:nuts:

Futures down pretty good this morning. Are we looking at another big down day.
 
Perhaps another affirmative action job candidate success. A nefarious toad that couldn't keep her braggadocio mouth shut - Karma at its finest.

I believe it was a combination of everything not just Berneke but mostly I believe this market is crazy. Everytime they scare someone into selling low they are making easy money. Most transactions are instant in the market. But 401K's, TSP etc are not instant. That is the money they are after and that's what they are getting to a degree.
IAH they were never designed to be traded regularly.
 
Although it is nice to see a nice green day that matches some of the down days we've had we still have to close and until we break through the 1150ish area (won't happen today) we will continue to be bound between 1020ish and 1150. Now that is a pretty big range and you can make money. But unless you are capturing the absolute top and bottom with what essentially is 1 chance per month (IFT's) your earnings are range bound as well. The key is being in when ever it pushes past 1150. When someone knows when that will happen please let me know.:nuts:
 
Nice close for the day. With tomorrow being Friday I don't expect any follow through but if we did it could be a momentum changer. Short term of course.
 
BP well, so it would seem, is plugged up. Global warming has been quiet news.
With disaster sidelined for the time being there is little self writing news available. I guess reporters will actually have to do some work. :nuts:

I like Anderson but he was really getting on my nerves during the gulf blunder.
 
Bought mine all at one time. Waiting for the right time to sell and will gladly pay the Tax. For long term plays I try to stay away from stuff that is a political potato but I could not resist the short term play. Candy from a baby.:D
 
Overseas down. Dollar gaining. Futures down. :sick:

Nothing looks positive for the day but it is only 8:30

Today is going to hurt but the sun will come up tomorrow but if it don't we don't need it anyhow.
